The FICS Emerging Student Awards at CQUniversity is a scholarship for students of good character and academic standards who participate in sporting activities themselves and have given outstanding service in developing or promoting the field of sports chiropractic and its services to athletes.
The purpose of the grant is to assist students who are contributing to sports chiropractic on a student level; are actively involved in sport, and have a passion for the future of sports chiropractic.

Eligibility for FICS Emerging Student Awards at CQUniversity
- Applicants must be enrolled full time at an accredited/recognized chiropractic school. The students need to be in the earlier years of their chiropractic program i.e. not in their final 2 years.
- Submit a 500-750-word essay concerning the importance of sports chiropractic services to athletes in training and competition, and to the future growth of the chiropractic profession.
- Candidates will be required to display proof of an adequate level of English proficiency
- Applicants need to meet the entry requirements of the program.
How to Apply for FICS Emerging Student Awards at CQUniversity
In order to apply for the opportunity, applicants first have to take admission in an undergraduate degree program at After that, they will be required to complete the application form and all submissions must be sent to admin-at-ficsport.org before 31 October. Late submissions will not be considered. The expected announcement date of the receptions is expected to be on or before the end of November.
Once all applications are received, a selection committee is formed from the members of FICS commissions and other FICS leadership. Only 1 (one) winner is chosen annually for the FICS Emerging Student Scholarship. This will be decided solely on the application documents submitted.
