- Candidates have to obligate to being present during spring break with the Global Spartan Leadership Program Alternative Spartan Break
- Applicants Must demonstrate a need for tuition assistance
- Applicants Must attend cultural and leadership events/conferences
- Applicants Must be a full-time, degree-seeking international undergraduate student in sophomore or junior status for the entire academic year
- Applicants Must commit to attending a non-credit weekly seminar during the fall and spring semesters and complete all assignments

Benefits of Global Spartan Leadership Scholarships
At the period of the Global Spartan Leadership Program (GSLP), foreign undergraduate applicants will obtain training on international leadership, be present at cultural events, become part of service-learning projects, and get an $8000 scholarship fund upon successful conclusion of the program requirements.
GSLP advances leadership development that is comprehensive, purposeful, cooperative, and values-based.
Beneficiaries will also take part in a fully-funded spring break service-learning tour, which is run by program instructors and two participant site leaders.
