Job Position – Vendor Manager

Job Description for Vendor Manager

  • Must be able to maintain relationships within Main One and suppliers, negotiating contracts, creating vendor standards and finding the best available vendors within the region.
  • Will Supervise all vendor management responsibilities, including working with external vendors and internal employees.
  • Focus on the tracking, measuring, report and evaluation of vendor performance.
  • Follow to the letter the penalties on SLA non-compliance in line with signed contractual agreements.
  • Stimulate steady process enhancement to present increasing operational efficiency in the entire business.
  • Manage Service Billing Dates in order to reduce credit exposures.
  • Review and Reconciliation of all vendors invoices and prompt sign-off of vendor-related documents as required
  • Purchase Order Processing for new orders and ensure prompt processing of orders placed with the procurement team
  • Provide complete information of all 3rd party orders to the necessary units and teams.
  • Support the expansion across new business lines and regions.
  • Lead the generation and improvement of vendor status analysis and reports on Vendor Relationship Management activity – KPI’s and dashboards – across the vendor landscape.

Job Requirements for Vendor Manager

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Management or any Social Science degree.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience.

  • Monitoring of the MDXi Tie-III Carrier Neutral Data Centre Network Infrastructure, and present specific update, status, and performance of all network components, capacity services, etc.

  • Oversee and service the structured cabling within the Data Centre.
