  • Superintendent of Prisons (SP) Vetinary CONMESS 02.

Must have a D.V.M from a renowned university.

  • Deputy Superintendent of Prisons (DSP) Pharmacy, CONHESS 09.

Bachelor of Pharmacy awarded by a recognized university.

  • Assistant Superintendent of Prisons. I (ASP.I) CONPASS 09

Master’s Degree from a reputable University in any of the following fields of study: Humanities; Social Sciences; Lab. Sciences; Architecture; Engineering; Radiology etc

  • Assistant Superintendent of Prisons II (ASP.II), CONPASS 08

Candidate should have a 1st  degree awarded by a popular University in any of the following disciplines: Humanities; Social Sciences; Psychology; Estate/Town Planning; Public Health; Food Sciences; Social Works etc.

CATEGORY B: Inspectorate Cadre:

  • Senior Inspector of Prisons (SIP), CONPASS 08.

Candidates should have an HND gotten from a renowned Polytechnic in the following fields: Estate Management; Town Planning; Public Health; Food Sciences; Social Works etc.

  • Inspector of Prisons (IP) Nursing, CONHESS 06.

Applicants should be Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives or Registered Nurses/Midwives gotten from a reputable institution of learning.

  • Assistant Inspector of Prisons (AIP) CONPASS 06.

OND/NCE awarded by a known institution of learning.

CATEGORY C: Assistant Cadre:

  • Prisons Assistant I (PAI) CONPASS 05

Applicants should possess GCE O’Level, SSCE/NECO or it’s equivalent with not less than 5 Credits in a minimum of 2 sittings and English Language and Mathematics should be inclusive or Trade Test Grade 1 

  • Prisons Assistant II (PAII) CONPASS 04

GCE O’Level, SSCE/NECO or relevant qualification with not less than 5 Credits in a minimum of 2 sittings, with English Language inclusive or Trade Test Grade II

  • Prison Assistant III (PA.III) CONPASS 03.

Applying candidates should have GCE O’Level, SSCE/NECO or it is equivalent with not less than 3 Credits in a minimum of 2 sittings, with English Language or Mathematics inclusive or Trade Test Grade III

Requirements 

  • Applicants must be a Nigerian citizen by birth.
  • Applying candidate must meet up with the required qualification and certificates. Certificates or qualifications which were not presented and also accepted at the recruitment center will not be accepted after the recruitment.
  • All applicants should be fit and present a medical fitness certificate issued by government-recognized hospitals.
  • Must be of a credible character, and must have no criminal history. 
  • Applicants must not belong to any secret society or cults, and must not be drug addicts either.
  • Must not be financially indebted to anyone or organization.
  •  All applying candidates should fall between the ages of 18 and 30 years.
  • Height should be not less than 1.65m for males and not less than 1.60 for females.
  • The chest measurement for men is not less than 0.87.
  • The applicant should be computer literate.
