Job Position: Registrar

  • Candidate will be responsible for the promotion of the welfare and discipline of a thriving workforce comprising of academic and non-teaching staff.
  • Will be the custodian of University documents/records and the archives of our past.
  • With a number of Faculties and Departments and new programme areas being planned, the Registrar carries a huge and enormous responsibility
  • Successful candidate will be the Secretary to Council, Senate, Convocation and Congregation of the University

  • Applicants must have a good honors Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower) in Humanities or Social Sciences from any reputable University with not less than 5 years of work experience as Deputy Registrar in a Federal University.
  • Possession of Master’s Degree and Doctor of Philosophy in the relevant discipline will be an advantage.
  • Possession of NYSC Discharge/Exclusion Certificate or Evidence of Exemption is mandatory

  • Candidates should provide a succinct vision statement of not more than 500 words relating to the University in the next five years with particular reference to the management of Library & Information Services.
