Rotary Organization Global Scholarship Program 2021

The Rotary Organization is offering a global scholarship program to help eliminate the economic barriers that stand on your way of education.

The aim of the scholarship program is to nurture an understanding of Rotary’s areas of concentration and offer a unique educational opportunity for non-Rotary students. The Rotary Global Scholar Grant takes the place of what was called the Ambassadorial Scholarship program and is obtainable for graduate-level study outside the U.S. in a district qualified by Rotary International.

Eligible Countries: International

Type: Masters or Doctoral

Value of Award: The scholarship is for a minimum of $30,000, awarded for the 2021-2022 academic year. An outstanding candidate may be considered for a longer term of scholarship if sufficient funds for matching are available.

Number of Awards: Not Known

Eligible Field of Study: Masters or doctoral degree in peace and conflict resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development.

Eligibility for Rotary Organization Global Scholarship Program

  • Candidates have to enroll in a master’s or doctoral degree program.
  • Candidates are required to be proficient in the English language.
  • Candidates are required to possess a previous degree certificate with excellent academic accomplishment.
  • The successful candidate may not be a Rotarian, an offspring or grandchild of a Rotarian, or a Rotary staff

How to Apply for Rotary Organization Global Scholarship Program

The application process entails filling an application form, getting and including recommendations from educators and/or employers, and submitting original transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. The application should then be sent to the local Rotary Club submitting the application for award funding.
