The Stamps Scholarship is the University of Miami’s most prestigious merit award available to students at the University of Miami, who are seeking for financial help in pursuing their studies at the Institution.

Stamps Scholars get the full expense of attendance for four years of undergraduate education at the University of Miami. The scholarship award comprises tuition and fees, on-campus housing, a meal plan, University health insurance, textbooks, a laptop allowance, and access to a $12,000 enrichment fund which may be used toward study abroad, unpaid internships, undergraduate research, leadership development, seminars, and other educational intents mutually decided upon by the University of Miami and Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.*
Extra benefits of the Stamps Scholarship award include being a member of the Stamps Scholars on-campus and national communities, aid to support academic and scientific research projects, study abroad, cultural and leadership programs, conventions and other regional seminars, and invitations to online events and networking chances.
*Enrichment fund costs are dependent on prior approval by the Office of the Provost.

Eligibility for Stamps Scholarship at University of Miami
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants must hold an offer to study in any undergraduate program at the university
- Applicants must hold a high school diploma.
Chosen applicants for the Stamps Scholarship award are invited to take part in the Scholarship Weekend at the University of Miami in the spring. During this two-day weekend event, applicants will meet with UM faculty and present scholars and learn more about the interest-driven studies. Subsequent to the weekend, a selection committee distinguishes finalists whom they recommend to obtain the Stamps Scholarship based on the students’ overall accomplishment and performance during the weekend. Finalists take part in an extra interview with the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.
How to Apply for Stamps Scholarship at University of Miami
Applicants are not required to make a separate application for this application. Applicants who have applied for early admission in an approved course will be automatically considered for this application program.
