Eligibility for SUNY Potsdam Graduate Scholarship for International Students

  • The candidate has to be an international student applying to SUNY Potsdam for admittance into a graduate program for the summer, fall or spring semester, with intentions to register full time (at least 9 credits). Scholarship applicants must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.

How to Apply for the SUNY Potsdam Graduate Scholarship for International Students

  • Put in a scholarship application for the semester you are arriving SUNY Potsdam.
  • To be a recipient of the grant you have to be admitted to SUNY Potsdam as an admitted graduate student for the summer, fall or spring semester, and be registered as a full-time scholar.

Deadline for SUNY Potsdam Graduate Scholarship

  • Your completed application must be on file with us by April 1 for the summer semester, July 1 for the fall semester, and December 1 for the spring semester. Please put in your credentials early to give room for enough time to sort out your visa. Applications completed after this date will be reviewed if funding allows. It is the student’s responsibility to check if the application is complete.
