Lumos provides cheap and clean solar energy to a pool of 1.3 billion possible consumers who live off the electricity network. Lumos allows clients to switch dangerous and expensive kerosene generators and lanterns with new solar electricity that can fuel lights, cellphones, computers, TVs, fans, and other little electronic devices (all at once, every day). By providing Solar Power as a Service, Lumos provides houses and small businesses a simple and cheap way to purchase electricity in small installments making use of their mobile phones. They are hiring to fill the following positions described below.

Job Description

  • The Talent Development & Engagement Manager will handle the learning and professional development of our organization’s workforce.
  • S/he will be responsible for equipping staff with the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out work-related tasks.
  • The TD & E Manager will provide guidance and direction on the design and execution of all capability development programs, develop a robust evaluation process and access each development program to ascertain the effectiveness
  • Key aspects of role holders’ responsibilities will be organizational capability development, career path planning, succession planning, talent review, employee engagement
  • The TD & E Manager will also be responsible for ongoing, long-term improvement of employees’ skills, enabling them to fulfill their potentials within the organization.

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills

  • A degree from any related course with at least 8 years cognate practical experience
  • Understands the latest trend in capability development and capacity building
  • Certification in training would be an advantage (A certified trainer)
  • Strong business awareness combined with solid HR expertise
  • Proven experience in managing people and senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of delivering results in an establishment of comparable size, scope, and complexity
  • English proficiency.

Relevant Experience:

  • Alternate Energy Business knowledge & experience
  • Project Management
  • Facilitation
  • Organizational management skill
