Wells Mountain Foundation Education Scholarship Program 2021

Wells Mountain Foundation provides assistance through Education Scholarship Program for high school leavers to study for a Bachelor’s degree in developing nations for the 2021 academic session.

The foundation’s expectation is that by providing the chance to further one’s education, the scholarship beneficiaries will not only be able to enhance their own future, but also that of their own communities.

Eligible Area of Studies: All fields are qualified although WMF aims to favor aiding professions like health care, education, social work, social justice, and also professions that help the economy and advancement of the nation like computers, engineering, agriculture, and business.

Number of Awards: 10 to 30 per year

Value of Scholarships:  Maximum scholarship is $3,000 USD.

Eligibility for Wells Mountain Foundation Education Scholarship Program

To be qualified to apply for this scholarship award, the candidate has to be a student, male or female, from a nation in the developing world, who:

  • successfully finished a secondary education, with good to exceptional grades
  • will be schooling in their nation or another nation in the developing world*
  • plans to reside and work in their own nation after they graduate
  • has volunteered before applying for this scholarship award and/or is willing to volunteer while obtaining the WMF scholarship
  • may possess some other funds available for their schooling, but will not be able to attend school without a scholarship award
